Hanging beads jewelry, or beaded curtains, are commonly installed in windows and doorways for privacy and aesthetic value. They provide some privacy without completely blocking a room, and are placed either on or above the door frame to create a curtain between rooms.
.Measure the length across the top of the door frame in inches.
.Put the hanging beads on a curtain rod of the length you measured. Some beads come with a rod the size of a typical door, while others need to slide onto a rod. The curtain has a loop at the top if a curtain rod is required to slide the rod through the beads. If the hanging beads come with a rod, the curtain rod is not necessary.
.Hammer two nails at the top of the door frame. Leave the nail partially out of the wall so that the curtain rod can fit on top of the nail.
.Place the rod with the beaded curtain on top of the nail or in hooks. Adjust the beads so the strands hang evenly.
