Making your own bracelets from wire and acrylic beads will allow you to create a one-of-a-kind piece, and they are easy enough that you can create one to match every outfit in your wardrobe. Handmade bracelets also make good gifts and can even be a way to make extra money. Bracelets can be sold at craft shows, online or even at your local flea market.
.Choose the beads that you want to use on your bracelet. The size of the beads and the size of the hole in the beads will determine your wire size. The best wire size is between 22- and 25-gauge as it is more flexible. You will need 20 inches of wire.
.Fold the wire in half, and insert one strand through the hole in one side of the fastener. Pull the fastener down so that it is in the loop where the wire is bent in half.
.Thread both ends of the wire through a large bead, and push it all the way to the bottom of the strand so that it is up against the fastener.
.Thread one side of the wire into six tiny beads, known as seed beads. Repeat on the other side, and push all the beads down until they are next to the first bead.
.Repeat these steps until all of the wire except the last 2 inches is covered in beads. Make sure to end on a large bead.
.Thread one side of the wire through the other half of the fastener. Twist both wires around the wire above the fastener and cut off any excess wire.
